Cortona's Windows 10 search bar takes up quite a bit of space. True, the program icons slip together in the taskbar as soon as the space runs out, but the wide white block next to the Start button can be unpleasantly distracting, especially if the Cortona search is rarely or never used.

Hiding or minimizing the search bar works as follows:

Right-click the taskbar, select Hide Cortona or Show Cortona Icon from the Cortona submenu.
