Gerhard G. StocKinger, Managing Director of Stockinger Consulting GmbH

About Gerhard G. StocKinger

I combine an understanding of technology with business practice.

For over 30 years, I have been supporting companies at the intersection of IT, processes, and change. I am not interested in technology for its own sake, but rather in the concrete benefits it brings to people and organizations.

My Background

Entrepreneurs, Consultants, and Translators: Bridging Worlds

As the founder and managing director of Stockinger Consulting GmbH, I am familiar with both technical decisions and their organizational implications. My projects range from infrastructure, ERP, and CRM to automation, data integration, and generative AI.

My Role

Making Complexity Understandable and Manageable

I bring senior management, business units, and IT together around the table, ask tough questions, and translate requirements into sound decisions. In workshops and presentations, I explain technology in a way that enables people to work with it. This includes sessions for WIFI as well as those offered through the UBIT Entrepreneurship Academy.

Knowledge alone doesn't change anything

Understanding turns into curiosity. Curiosity turns into action.

What’s particularly important to me is the moment when initial skepticism turns into curiosity. After my talks, I often hear that complex concepts suddenly seem understandable and that people immediately want to try out their own ideas. That’s exactly the kind of energy I want to generate—and then translate into meaningful next steps.

My Role in the Implementation Network

The task determines the team.

I remain the primary point of contact, categorize the project, and, if necessary, assemble the appropriate specialists for strategy, data, the industry, technical implementation, or local LLM systems. Roles and responsibilities remain transparent throughout the process.
