Flipped Nexus Desk: The Secure AI Workspace for Operational Teams
AIM was followed by Flipped Nexus Desk: a multi-tenant AI work environment featuring verified prompts, corporate knowledge, files, transcription, and centralized administration.
Following the assessment phase with Flipped Nexus AIM, the second module was introduced: Flipped Nexus Desk. The product is now live and is aimed at companies that want not only to test generative AI but also to make it available to teams in a controlled work environment.
Instead of requiring employees to switch between public chatbots, prompt collections, and individual file tools, FNX-DESK consolidates key workflows into a multi-tenant environment.
A workspace for recurring AI tasks
Flipped Nexus Desk combines open chat with curated features for day-to-day operations:
- Prompt Library: Tested system prompts, variables, tags, and prompt packages for repeatable results.
- Corporate Knowledge: Your own documents can be incorporated as context for answers.
- Files and Tables: Analyze documents and generate follow-up messages or email drafts, for example, from structured data.
- Meetings: Transcribe discussions in accordance with the GDPR and prepare them for further work.
- Web search and free chat: work on open tasks without leaving the guided environment.
Desk Mode and Board Mode
Different roles don't need the same interface. The comprehensive Desk Mode is designed for power users and a wide range of tasks. The more compact Board Mode can be tailored to specific use cases. This way, a team doesn't automatically get all the features—it gets the workspace that's right for it.
The built-in online help and a learning space make it easy to get started. Approved templates lower the barrier to entry for employees without completely restricting their creative freedom.
Control isn't just a matter of the model
A secure AI rollout involves more than just choosing a language model. Administrators centrally manage tenants, roles, models, knowledge, security, and costs. The product page lists three LLM providers and an “EU-first” model strategy focused on Mistral.
This creates a common framework for issues that often remain unresolved in uncoordinated AI implementations:
- Which models and features are allowed to be used?
- What sources of knowledge are available to each team?
- Which prompts are considered a verified starting point?
