Flipped Nexus Legacy Announced: Preserving Practical Knowledge

Flipped Nexus Legacy was announced as the third product: Guided interviews are intended to transform experiential knowledge into a peer-reviewed handbook and a searchable knowledge vault.

Following Flipped Nexus AIM and Flipped Nexus Desk, which is now available, the third component of the product line has been announced: Flipped Nexus Legacy.

FNX-LEGACY addresses a problem that often only becomes apparent in many companies shortly before retirement, a change in role, or a handover: The truly important practical knowledge is rarely fully documented in process manuals.

Documents contain rules—people know the exceptions

Key personnel with many years of experience know which warning signs to take seriously, why certain decisions are made differently than in the standard process, and which special cases aren't covered in any manual. This knowledge is often scattered across memories, examples, emails, and personal routines.

Traditional documentation projects often fail due to a lack of time. People are expected to fill out blank templates or write long texts on top of their day-to-day work. That’s why Flipped Nexus Legacy focuses on conversations.

Structured interviews conducted through appropriate channels

Key individuals are interviewed using a structured interview format. Depending on the situation, these interviews may take place via an AI avatar, by phone, via chat, or in person. The questions are designed not only to identify the ideal process but also specifically to address:

  • specific examples and typical situations,
  • Exceptions and improvised solutions,
  • Warning signs and escalation points,
  • Decision-making criteria and priorities,
  • Dependencies on people, systems, and documents.

From an Interview to a Verified Body of Knowledge

AI-powered processing is only an intermediate step. FNX-LEGACY provides for a review workflow that includes moderator review, expert validation, correction, and approval. The result is intended to be usable in two forms:

  • Manual: written in plain language for handoffs, orientation, and coverage.
  • Knowledge Vault: structured and searchable for research or later use by agents.

This is more than just transcribing a conversation. Statements, examples, and exceptions are organized, verified, and transformed into a transferable knowledge base.

Current status: in progress

Flipped Nexus Legacy is not yet available as a live product. The product page lists FNX-LEGACY as “Coming Soon.” Interested companies can currently sign up for the waitlist and will be notified when the product launches.

Early registration is particularly useful if a critical handover is scheduled for the coming months or if knowledge from key roles needs to be systematically documented. This allows the specific use case to be addressed even before the project begins.

The product line comes full circle

The order is intentional: AIM provides direction, Desk integrates AI into controlled workflows, and Legacy preserves the knowledge on which good decisions are based. All three products follow the same guiding principle: focused tools for a clearly defined, problematic workflow.
